Here’s a round-up of Easter events in Llanelli and further afield in Carmarthenshire for the school holidays in 2017. There’s plenty to choose from – theatre shows, egg hunts, outdoor fun, and of course plenty of chocolate!

Easter at the Gwili Railway
Friday, April 14 to Monday, April 17, 10.30am-5pm
Take a trip on the steam train and enjoy the Easter trail. Lots of fun for children aged 12 and under, including a railway activity pack, a visit to the Easter Bunny, and Easter egg, face painting (extra charge) and vintage games (extra charge). Your ticket allows you to ride the steam train all day.

Monday, April 17, 1pm-4pm
Activities include a children’s quiz with an Easter egg for all (£1 entry), cake decorating (50p), and a free colouring competition. There will also be a range of craft stalls and refreshments.
Dusty’s Giant Easter Duck Hunt, WWT Penclacwydd
Saturday, April 8 – Sunday, April 23
Search around the wetlands for giant yellow ducks that have got lost in the grounds. If you find them you’re in with a chance of winning a yummy chocolate treat. The event is included in the entry price.
Other activities through the Easter holidays include: den building (all day), mini beast hunt and pond dipping (11am-noon), flamingo talk and watch (1pm-2pm), pond dipping (2.30pm), craft workshops (times vary).

Put on your detective hat and help to find the missing calf. Solve the mystery and be rewarded with a Cadbury egg!

A family show particularly suitable for children aged two to seven, who can join in with the hunt for a hidden chocolate factory. Meet the Easter Bunny after for a chocolate treat. Child £10, adult £8.50.
